"Ronin has been a joy to have in training. He has learned his lessons well and his retention is amazing. Ronin moves thru the field with purpose and grace . He has become a dedicated hunting partner . His water retrieves will rival any retriever and his pointing ability is second to none. We have shot Ducks , Pigeons , Chucker and Pheasants over Ronin and he is more than proficient with all of them. Ronin is a dog that could compete in all pointing stakes. He is a strong animal that was a joy to train. For any breed of field dog he would rank strong, but as an Italian Spinone He is certainly one of the finest of the breed. I have been training gun dogs for forty years . My honesty as a trainer has a lot to do with our reputation and any one who knows me Knows I don’t say these words lightly .
